Tabitha Reynolds - mezzo-soprano

Tabitha has been awarded an entrance scholarship to continue her studies on the Master of Arts Course at the Royal Academy of Music, after graduating in 2016 under the tutelage of Julie Kennard and Iain Ledingham. During her time at RAM she was awarded the Isobel May Walton scholarship, Lucille Graham scholarship, Rhoda Jones Roberts scholarship and the Josephine Baker Trust. She is generously supported by The Mario Lanza Educational Foundation, Split Infinitive Trust and The Lynn Foundation.

Operatic experience includes Donezetti’s The Elixir of Love and Puccini’s Tosca with Nevill Holt Opera; Handel’s Ariodante, Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Tabitha has also performed opera scenes in the Festival Camogli (Italy) on the RAM tour, as Cherubino, Le Nozze di Figaro and Idamante, Idomeneo. as well as Dryad from Ariadne auf Naxos in the Royal Academy opera scenes at RADA.

On the concert platform Tabitha has enjoyed performing a wide variety of choral works as a soloist including, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater. During her time at RAM she was a member of the prestigious Bach/Kohn Foundation Bach Cantata Series.

Prior to her undergraduate studies, she was a music scholar at Kings Rochester. Here Tabitha participated in a master class with Dame Felicity Lott. In her final year of school Tabitha played the lead role in the opera Dido and Aeneas in Rochester Cathedral.
